One sweet incident, 5 months of friendship, 4 months of love, 7 sweet evenings & some bitter memories. A promise for ever took minutes to end. I figured out feelings felt to be eternal were words cribbed on a piece of paper....
.
So who to blame? No one? not you, not her, certainly not the people, but every thing around you that result in a string to break. When things are stretched, they expand to a certain limit till cords start getting week & finally spank! The memories do haunt for some time, a face becomes shadow & nights lame, but stronger of you would stand firm at this stage & succeed. You might find it harsh, but when you understand that the current was against you, you would realize I was right.
.
The tough part of breaking up is the month after that. The memories & moments haunt you, friends talk things & emotions leave you stranded alone. Getting over addictions is tough, drugs hurt you, you start hating yourself, loose all you have but leaving it anhan! not so easy. Overcoming this phase is tough, as you pretend like the tall tree with week roots, it falls but refuses to bend....
.
Don't ask me how much I miss her, coz a friend once said even if you have to let a pet go, tears haunt you; leaving a person you love is much more difficult. Every failed relationship leaves a scar on your face, a scar others cant see others cant fix, you have to live with it not to remember the pain but the good memories.
.
Five months or five years in an avg life of 50 years is a rounding error, so I'll move on & focus on what's there for me rather than what is lost.
